str market map

For software and service companies

Get found by the property managers choosing their next tool

Short-term rental operators use STR Market Map to compare software and services, and the Guide to get a shortlist. Here is how listed companies turn that into customers.

Free to claim. Rankings are earned, never sold.

  • Nobody pays for a higher Guide score
  • Claiming is free, with unlimited team members
  • The site runs in English, German, Spanish, French and Italian

Six ways companies win on STR Market Map

Each one starts with a problem we hear from software and service teams. Most of it works on the free plan.

Use case 1

Get matched when an operator asks the Guide

Free plan

The problem

An operator answers a few questions about their rentals and gets a shortlist. If your features, integrations and countries are not on record, you cannot be on it.

What you do

  • Confirm which features you offer, one by one, in your portal.
  • Add the PMS and other tools you integrate with.
  • Set the countries you serve.

The result

When an operator's needs fit what you do, the Guide can put you on their shortlist and say why, for example that you work with the PMS they already use. Paying never raises your score.

Use case 2

Make your profile yours

Free plan

The problem

Your listing was put together by our editors from public information. Operators read it before they ever visit your website, and it may be out of date.

What you do

  • Claim the profile with your work email.
  • Upload your logo and product screenshots.
  • Pick up to 10 highlights and add a signed note in your own words.
  • Invite your team to help.

The result

Your card in the marketplace carries the claimed mark and your profile says it is managed by your team. Operators see current facts in your voice.

Use case 3

Build trust with reviews from real customers

Free · replies on Core and Premium

The problem

Operators trust other operators more than any sales page. Without reviews, your profile has to do all the convincing alone.

What you do

  • Send your own review link to happy customers.
  • Reply in public to every review, on Core and Premium.
  • Publish customer case studies: 2 a year on Core, 4 on Premium.

The result

Reviews appear on your profile, and reviewers who confirm their email get a Verified mark. Operators see what customers say and how you respond.

Use case 4

Answer “does it work with my PMS?” before they ask

Free plan

The problem

Most operators already run a PMS. If they cannot see that you connect to it, many move on to the next tool.

What you do

  • Check the integrations we found and confirm the right ones.
  • Add the ones we missed. A contact at the partner helps us confirm them faster.

The result

Operators who filter the marketplace by their PMS can find you, and the Guide can name the integration as a reason you fit.

Use case 5

Turn interest into a conversation

The problem

An operator likes what they see, but a contact form on your own site is one more step. Some never take it.

What you do

  • Operators send a request for info from your profile, and you get an email each time.
  • On Core and Premium you see the contact details right away. On Free they unlock after 7 days.
  • On Premium, add your own button, for example Book a demo, and keep similar providers off your profile.

The result

You talk to operators who asked for you, with their portfolio size, current tools and what they need already in front of you.

Use case 6

Know what your listing brings in

The problem

Most directory listings are a black box. You pay or spend time on them and never learn what came back.

What you do

  • Open the analytics in your portal: profile views, clicks to your website and lead trends.
  • On Core and Premium, see the full history since you claimed.
  • On Premium, get a report on where you stand in your category and a yearly call to go through it.

The result

You see whether operators find you, which of them click through, and where demand in your category is heading.

Start in three steps

Your company may already be listed. If it is, claiming takes a few minutes.

  1. Find your company

Search for it on the sign-up page. Not listed yet? Request to be added and our team reviews it.

  2. Confirm it is you

Enter your work email, type in the code we send, and set a password.

  3. Fill in what operators look for

Features, integrations, countries and screenshots. Your portal shows what to add first.

Questions providers ask

Is it free to be listed?

Does paying improve my place in the Guide?

No. The Guide matches on features, integrations and countries. Nobody pays for a higher score, on any plan.

Can I rewrite my description?

Our editors write the main description so every profile stays neutral and comparable. You add your own signed note in the In your words section and can suggest edits to us.

My company is not listed. What now?

Search for it on the sign-up page. If it is not there, request to be added and our team reviews it.

How do leads reach me?
