str market mapHotel operations teams in housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk typically coordinate work through phone calls, paper lists, or generic messaging apps, creating blind spots in room readiness, slow maintenance response, and no real-time visibility for managers.
RoomChecking is a hotel housekeeping and operations management platform founded in 2015 and headquartered in Charenton-le-Pont, France, serving independent hotels and small chains.
The primary capability is a real-time room-status board connecting housekeeping, maintenance, and front-desk staff through mobile and desktop apps: room attendants update cleaning status, log defects, and flag rooms for inspection from a mobile device; maintenance staff receive and close work orders in the same flow; and front desk sees live room readiness to manage check-in timing. Task assignment, workload scheduling, and a cross-department communication feed run inside the platform, with manager reporting on turnaround times, staff productivity, and recurring maintenance issues, and integration with hotel PMS platforms.
Hotel operations managers at independent hotels, boutique properties, and small groups who want to replace paper-and-phone coordination with structured digital workflows across housekeeping and maintenance teams.
