str market mapTravelers searching for a vacation rental must check Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, and dozens of smaller regional platforms separately, with no straightforward way to compare prices for the same property across sites.
Likibu is a Paris-based vacation rental metasearch engine, operating since 2012, that aggregates short-term rental listings from major OTAs and regional platforms into one search interface so travelers can compare price and availability for the same property across sources.
Likibu pulls inventory from Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, Interhome, Novasol, and more than 80 additional suppliers, including boutique regional operators across Europe, Latin America, and North America. A traveler enters destination, dates, and guest count, and results return with side-by-side price comparisons and direct links into each platform's booking flow. Likibu does not process the booking itself: the user is redirected to the supplier site to complete it. The interface runs in seven languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese), and revenue comes from affiliate commissions on click-throughs rather than any traveler fee.
Price-conscious leisure travelers across Europe and North America who want a single starting point to compare vacation rental rates instead of checking each OTA by hand. Also used by channel managers and PMS providers as an aggregation channel for incremental distribution.
