str market mapFrench STR hosts and concierge operators frustrated with OTA commission structures need a direct booking alternative that combines listing tools with community-driven discovery.
Triptic is a French direct booking platform and social travel community for short-term rental hosts, concierge operators, and travellers. The platform allows hosts to list properties and accept bookings directly from guests without paying OTA commissions, while travellers can discover accommodation through the community, connect with other travellers and hosts, and book without service fees.
For hosts and concierge operators, Triptic offers property listing with direct booking capability, a reservation management interface, and guest messaging tools. The platform supports three user types: individual hosts, concierge management companies, and travellers. Hosts can create accounts and list properties for free; paid subscription options are available for additional tools including property website creation and enhanced visibility. Travellers can browse the platform, explore trip inspiration shared by community members, and book directly with hosts. The community dimension allows users to share travel experiences, follow other travellers, and discover destinations through peer content rather than algorithmic advertising.
